- Driving with three kids an hour to get to Valleyfair?
- Taking three kids in varying age ranges to Valleyfair?
- Paying for a family of five to go to Valleyfair?
- Paying for parking in order to pay for five people to spend the day at Valleyfair?
- Having one child still in diapers while spending a day at Valleyfair?
- Standing in the rain for seven hours while we desperately tried to get our money’s worth at Valleyfair?
- Finding out many of the rides we paid for are not open during the rain?
- Soaking wet and freezing all the way home?
- Seeing the sun come out bright and shining about 15 miles from home?
Despite all of this, we did have a memorable day at Valleyfair. The kids had fun and nobody got hypothermia or extreme chaffing, so all is well.

I'm

Bummer. My hubby and the boys had a similar experience at Como Zoo a couple weeks ago. My dad always told me it was good to goto Valley fair when it was cold or raining a little, because you could get on the rides so fast?! Maybe you should have went to MOA.
I’d say the drive and the diapers were the highlight of the day.
I hate that you have to pay for parking on top of the entrance fee.
And if you can find a day when it rains in the morning but ends by 11 a.m., it’s a perfect day to be there. Many others have given up and stay away for the day.
BTDT, except I was one of the kids. Kind of sucked.
Also been there when it was too hot and got heat exhaustion. That sucked too.
However, Valleyfair is still an awesome place!
