I’m 24 years old and trying to do something amazing for my mom for mother’s day. My mother and I have been separated for the past 20 years. She moved to Iowa after my parents divorced, while I remained living with my father in California. We have maintained a wonderful relationship over the years, but have not had the money to bridge the physical gap in our geographical locations to have more than one visit a year for those past 20 years, if we even had a visit at all each year.
I’ve entered us in a contest that requires votes, and is aimed at the person who best utilizes the viral community aspect of the internet to get people to vote for them daily. Winning the contest would send my mom out for a visit! I’m using Twitter as part of my viral campaign and would appreciate any support you are willing to give!
