Suzanne Shaffer caught my attention right away on Twitter. A while back, she wrote a blog post about the three most interesting people she follows online, and I was pleasantly surprised to find she selected me! Really? Ah…shucks. Since then, we’ve developed a Twitter relationship. She is friendly and outgoing, and always helpful. Suzanne has a website that she uses to help parents navigate college decisions with their children. While I’m far from those types of decisions yet, Suzanne’s unique approach to helping others is sincere and refreshing. I hope she’s still at it in 10 years when I need her!

Most of all, I enjoy her tweets packed with 140 characters of funny stuff. I frequently laugh out loud or call to my husband, “You have to read this”. My husband has since followed @ChiNurse so he can read her tweets on his own. The most memorable tweets? Removing stitches from her dog’s unmentionables on the couch and being nearly scared to death by a bird flying out of a tree while letting her dog out. Yeah, they don’t sound as funny after I’ve killed the punchlines, but I assure you that
