Friday, July 10th is National Teddy Bear Picnic Day. Celebrate with your kids by eating lunch by the picnic table, taking a picnic to the lake or park, or having a teddy bear tea party on the lawn or in the play house.
Do you love to picnic? Do you have some great picnic food ideas that you’d like to share? We’d love to hear from you.
Here’s two ideas we do for mini-picnic food:

Making Cucumber Sandwiches; Ritz Crackers, Cream Cheese, and Cucumber Slices
Cucumber Sandwiches – Take your favorite cracker, spread with garden vegetable cream cheese, and top with a slice of cucumber. My kids, oddly enough, LOVE this.
Pickle Rolls- Take a slice of ham, beef, turkey (any sandwich meat) and thinly spread cream cheese. Place a pickle in the center and roll it up. You can also use olives or grape tomatoes, which my kids also enjoy.

Eating Cucumber Sandwiches

A bit of cream cheese and cracker crumbs ooze out of the baby's mouth, but she likes cucumber sandwiches!
